It is no surprise the teachers at CIS made the most of their professional development day. The leadership team presented information about creating a classroom community. The teachers participated in a four corners student engagement strategy and gained ideas about how it can be used in their classrooms. Instructional teams met and came up with ideas on how to build classroom communities, then shared with other teams. The Cardiac Emergency Response Team learned from the ambulance department and made decisions about procedures. Instructional teams worked through resources used to teach standards aligned to the state departments expectations. There is so much to be proud of when working with each other as a consolidated group all with the same goal! What a great day to be a Dragon! #DragonNationGoalGetters
